HUD-L2 Voting

The L2 Voting and MTO (Moving to Opportunity) linked dataset includes a selection of MTO variables merged with L2 voter turnout information for MTO participants. All the voting variables come from publicly available voter records maintained by state governments. The data can be used to study the voting practices of MTO participants post program participation. The voter file variables are the following: 1. Whether the participant matched with a record in the voter file. 2. The proportion of elections they voted in before they entered the MTO program. 3. The proportion of elections they voted in after they entered the MTO program. 4. The proportion of elections they voted in, after they had registered to vote and after they entered the MTO program.
